OUR END OF LIFE DOULA is an advance care planning and end of life coaching company that is specifically geared to patients facing terminal illnesses. She also educates the public on the importance of planning for the future. From living wills to planning for future illnesses, YEOLD is here to help you. Patti regularly conducts workshops on getting your Living Will and Health Care Proxy done.

Patti is a Certified End of Life Doula as well as a Certified Senior Advisor. She is also a member of: Shoreline Chamber of Commerce; Shoreline Eldercare Alliance (SEA); and Society of Certified Senior Advisors. She is the founder of Shoreline Area Senior Network, a networking and educational group for professionals serving the senior community along the CT Shoreline. Patti also serves on the Board of Directors of Orchard House Adult Day Center, Shoreline Eldercare Alliance, and Connecticut Green Burial Grounds.

A graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University with a BS in Business Management and Paralegal Studies, Patti worked as a paralegal for 17 years for Fortune 500 companies in both Manhattan and New Jersey in the fields of corporate, international, and franchise law.

In 1996, Patti founded Legal-Eaze, a company that specializes in international adoption. Located in NYC, Legal-Eaze has assisted in the adoption process of over 10,000 children from countries such as China, Guatemala, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, to name a few. Knowing that her skills in helping families transition at the beginning of family life would suit her well in many areas, Patti decided upon serving seniors and their families. After careful consideration, she chose to open a Guilford branch of Comfort Keepers in 2009. Patti started the agency from her kitchen table and grew it to over $1.2M in annual sales before selling it in June, 2017.

Patti founded Your End of Life Doula (www.yourendoflifedoula.com), a doula coaching service specifically geared to patients facing terminal illnesses. The concept was born out of her work with seniors and her observation of the suffering of her end-of-life clients and the gap that exists between hospitals, hospice, and the patient. Its primary purpose is to empower individuals to make their own choices with regard to end of life.
