    Tower One/Tower East is an affordable active senior living community, offering both independent and affordable assisted living services in the heart of one of New England’s most historic and vital cities. For over 40 years, the Towers have provided a safe and vibrant environment for older persons of varying means from the greater New Haven area, around the state, and beyond. We are proud of our ability to readily respond to the changing needs of Tower One/Tower East residents and their families.     Living well means different things to different people. Beyond pleasant and secure surroundings, we believe that, to one degree or another, the support and companionship of friends, spirituality, intellectual stimulation, and exercise are all key factors in the equation that leads to successful, happy lives. While residents of Tower One/Tower East enjoy a comfortable and safe environment with a full complement of conveniences, a truly higher standard is achieved by helping each individual find precisely the right balance of social, physical, spiritual, and mental inspiration.

    The Tower One/Tower East lifestyle is within the reach of a broad spectrum of older adults with differing financial circumstances. In addition to monthly fees that compare very favorably with communities of equally high quality, the Towers possess significant expertise in assisting both existing and prospective residents with access to a variety of assistance programs.

    Our ability to give residents access to multiple payer sources for rent and assisted-living services’ programs makes the Towers unique among older adult living communities in the region. We are the only adult living community in greater New Haven, and one of only a handful in Connecticut-eligible for inclusion in several state-administered programs that help residents and their families avoid unnecessary concerns about long-term expenses for assisted-living services. That may be among the most significant advantages of the Tower One/Tower East living experience.

    Our director for Occupancy/ Marketing, Rebecca Goodman Olshansky, enjoys helping seniors and their loved ones to decide on how the Towers can be an answer to living a fulfilling independent lifestyle as they age in place. She knows first-hand, since several of her own family members have resided and still do reside at the Towers. She holds the Towers in high esteem.

    Coming from a financial background of 15 years, then 7 years in home healthcare, she feels she has truly found her niche in life at Tower One/Tower East. She is a member of the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Healthcare Council; the InterAgency Council for the Aging; New Haven Senior Networking Group; Connecticut Assisted Living Association; and Leading Age of Connecticut.
