Dr. Sathiya Eswarathasan, affectionately called Dr. Es by her patients, has been in practice specializing in feet for over a decade. Dr. Es joined the long standing East Haven/Branford Footcare Practice approximately two years ago. She was in private practice for eight years prior to this in New York.
Having finished a highly competitive residency focused on both forefoot and rear foot reconstructive surgery as well as medicine, Dr. Es is well trained in all aspects of foot and ankle pathology. She is board certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Dr. Es treats the full spectrum in foot and ankle disorders including conditions affecting skin, tendon, muscle and bone. She is also competent in treating advanced Diabetic wounds (both conservatively and surgically). She performs both office and hospital based surgeries.

Dr. Es focuses on patient education as well as having an open environment for questions from patients. She believes in having a caring environment for questions from patients. She believes in having a caring and friendly office so patients feel welcomed and understood.
