The Hearth at Gardenside is situated on 19 wooded acres just minutes from historic downtown Branford. Branford’s exquisite location makes it a quintessential New England town. Offering a sparkling coastline, lovely beaches, abundant gourmet restaurants, the historic Blackstone Memorial Library, the church-lined town green, and a bustling town center, Branford residents are proud of its New England heritage. Our community is conveniently located close to shopping centers, local places of worship, medical offices, and both Yale New Haven Hospitals. Our campus amenities include an outdoor gazebo, walking path and beautiful landscaped grounds. Included in the monthly rent are three fresh cooked meals a day, weekly housecleaning, recreation programs, scheduled transportation and access to our Wellness Office.
Our on-site licensed nursing agency can provide care in the privacy of resident’s apartments, allowing families and residents peace of mind, 24-hours a day. We are one of the few communities that offer 24hour onsite nursing – meaning a nurse is in our building 24hrs a day! Our Wellness aides provide carefully chosen activities to address the ever changing individual needs of our residents. We are proud to have Yale Geriatric Services on-site as a primary care practice in our community. Yale’s physicians are board certified in Internal and Geriatric Medicine and work closely with our nurses to meet the medical needs of our residents.
Our Keepsake Village is designed to assist those with memory loss to live in a comfortable residential setting while receiving the professional assistance with stimulation the need.
It is our belief that the key to aging well is maintaining a life of passion, fulfillment and purpose. At the heart of our community is a belief built upon a foundation centered on our residents, families, staff and communities. Our value system nurtures, inspires and supports the mind, body and spirit throughout life’s journey.
